Heather Pimentel is a qualified LAMDA teacher, an ex-equity member, a published poet & writer.

                                                                 

Heather gained an Honours Degree in English Literature at Hull University,

subsequently studying Drama and going on to take the

Licentiate Diploma of the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LLAM) and

the Diploma from the Mime Centre London.

She worked in London as a teacher and founded the children's educational theatre company

"Simply Shakespeare"

for which she wrote, acted & directed, obtaining Equity Membership.

She then performed on the London Fringe, before focusing on teaching.

She moved to the Isle of Wight in 1996, where she up until recently taught Creative Dance & Drama

She has also published poetry and articles in mainstream poetry magazines, and specialises in haiku.
